Ticket Policy
Non-transferability
Passes are non-transferable and cannot be used for other transit agencies or for UP express.
Passengers
Weekend passes are valid for 1 passenger, aged 13 and up. Kids 12 and under ride free.
Pass Usage
Valid for unlimited number of trips for 1 passenger from the point of activation until end of service of the same day. This is applicable only on a Saturday, Sunday or a holiday. Trips are not limited to one route and can be taken anywhere across the GO network.
Activation
Passes require a smartphone to be activated. It will need to be activated 5 minutes prior to boarding to allow for activation to complete.
Travel Period
After activating, passes can be used until 4 AM of the next day. E.g. if activating on a Saturday at 3 PM, it can be used until Sunday, 4 AM.
Expiration
A pass can be activated and used at any point from the date of purchase till up to 7 days after the purchase date.
Proof of Pass
Passes cannot be printed at home and have to be shown digitally using a smartphone to fare inspectors aboard the train or bus service, when asked.
Refunds & Reimbursements
Passes do not qualify for a service guarantee. Passes can’t be refunded or reimbursed.

E-tickets are valid for the # of passenger(s) listed on the ticket. It can be applicable to either an Adult (13 to 64) or a Senior (65+), depending on the selection when purchasing the ticket. Kids 12 and under ride free.
E-Ticket Usage
Valid for unlimited number of trips for up to 4 hours after the point of activation. This is applicable on weekdays not including holidays. Trips are limited to the route specified when purchasing the ticket. E.g. tickets purchased from Union Station to Appleby Station must be used in that direction only.
Return Trip
Return trips are issued a separate ticket and have to be activated separately.
