From Saturday, Oct. 12 until end of day Monday, Oct. 14, there will be no train service between Maple and Allandale Waterfront GO due to construction. Regularly scheduled trips will operate on the Barrie line between Union Station and Maple GO.  

Replacement GO buses will operate between Maple GO and Barrie Bus Terminal, with additional GO bus trips operating between HWY 407 terminal and Aurora GO. 

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, there will be no GO service at King City GO until after 2 p.m

On Oct. 12- 14: 

If you’re travelling northbound from Union Station: 

All weekend train trips will run as usual between Union Station and Maple GO. 

If you wish to travel beyond Maple GO, you will need to connect with one of the GO Bus route variants (65M, 68K, 68L, 65G). 

Bus connection times at Maple GO will vary between eight and 12 minutes.  

Train replacement bus trips will operate between: 

  • 65G – Hwy 407 Terminal to Rutherford GO, Maple GO, King City GO & Aurora GO  
    • Customers on northbound Route 65G trips wishing to connect to Route 68 trips at Aurora GO will have a connection time of 7 minutes 
  • 65K – Maple GO, King City GO, Aurora GO  
  • 65M – Maple GO all stops to East Gwillimbury GO 
    • Customers will arrive in East Gwillimbury 30 minutes later than usual 
  • 68K – Maple GO express to Barrie South GO, Allandale GO & Barrie Transit Terminal  
    • Customers will arrive in Barrie at the same time as usual 
  • 68J – Maple GO all stops to Bradford GO  
    • Customers will arrive in Bradford 40 minutes later than usual 
  • 68L – Maple GO all stops to Barrie Transit Terminal 
    • Customers will arrive at their destination station between 13 and 60 minutes later than usual. 

If you’re travelling southbound to Union Station:

All weekend train trips will run as usual between Maple GO and Union Station

  • If you typically travel from Allandale Waterfront GO or Barrie South GO on the 6:51 a.m., 5:01 a.m., 11:05 a.m., 2:05 p.m. and 8:08 p.m. trips, you can board: 
  • The 68L 45-55 minutes earlier or the 68K two minutes earlier in order to make the 7:59 a.m., 9:09 a.m., 12:13 p.m., 3:13 p.m., 6:13 p.m. and 9:26 p.m. train connections at Maple GO. 
    • The next departing bus trip will be departing 23 minutes later than the regular train time, arriving at Union Station one hour and 20 minutes later. 
  • If you typically travel from Bradford GO after 7:45 a.m. you will need to connect with a GO replacement bus 45 minutes earlier than usual, otherwise you will need to wait one hour and 20 minutes for the next bus trip. 
  • If you typically travel from stations between East Gwillimbury and King City GO, you will need to board a GO replacement bus 25-30 minutes earlier or 35 minutes later. 

Train replacement bus trips will operate between: 

  • 65G – Aurora GO, King City GO, Maple GO, Rutherford GO to Hwy 407 Terminal. If you’d like to connect to route 65G trips at Aurora GO, you will have a connection time of 10 minutes.
  • 65K - Aurora GO, King City GO, Maple GO, arriving at Aurora GO 30 to 35 minutes earlier than usual
  • 65M – East Gwillimbury GO all stops to Maple GO, you will have to arrive at East Gwillimbury between 40 and 45 minutes earlier than usual.
  • 68K – Barrie Transit Terminal-Allandale-Barrie South express to Maple GO, you will have to arrive at Barrie Transit Terminal or Allandale Waterfront GO between five and 10 minutes earlier than usual.
  • 68L – Barrie Transit Terminal all stops to Maple GO, you will have to arrive at Barrie Transit Terminal or Allandale Waterfront GO one hour earlier than usual.
    • Customers on the Route 65G rail replacement bus trips wishing to connect to or from destinations in Toronto (including Downsview Park and Union Station) will be able to connect to or from the TTC subway at Hwy 407 Terminal/subway station.

Existing early morning and late-night Route 65 and 68 bus trips to and from USBT are unaffected. 

On Oct. 15: 

King City GO will not be in service until 1:34 p.m., with southbound train service resuming at 2:11 p.m., and northbound train service resuming at 2:39 p.m. 

You can connect to a GO train at Maple or Aurora GO stations. 

You can also connect to local transit options: 

  • YRT route 96, which operates every 30 minutes, to Pioneer Village TTC station where you can connect to a subway on Line 1 travelling towards Union Station. 
    • Estimated trip time: one hour and 40 minutes.
