Stouffville Service Adjustment | June 8 to 9

There will be no GO train service on the Stouffville line on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 while we perform important construction along the corridor. GO bus service will replace train service at all stations except Kennedy, Agincourt and Milliken GO.

• GO Bus Route 71E will serve Union Station Bus Terminal, Unionville GO, Centennial GO, Markham GO, and Mount Joy GO.
• GO Bus Route 71C will serve Union Station Bus Terminal, Unionville GO, Centennial GO, Markham GO, Mount Joy GO, Stouffville GO, and Old Elm GO.

Please note: GO bus schedules will differ from regular train schedules due to differences in travel time.

There will be no GO Transit service at Milliken, Agincourt, or Kennedy GO. If you’re travelling to Union Station from one of these stations, please connect with TTC services: 

From Milliken GO:

• TTC bus route 53 Steeles East, connecting to TTC Line 1 (Yonge-University).

From Agincourt GO:

• TTC bus route 985 Sheppard East Express, connecting to TTC’s Subway Line 4 (Sheppard) and Line 1 (Yonge-University).

From Kennedy GO:

• TTC’s Subway Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) and Line 1 (Yonge-University).

Check updated schedules before your travel and note that GO buses may depart at a different time than normally scheduled train service. Use gotransit.com or triplinx.ca to plan your trip.

Regular train service will resume Monday, June 9.

What type of construction work is happening?

We will be performing track construction and maintenance along the Stouffville corridor to ensure the safe and reliable operations of our train service. This work will also focus on updating key infrastructure updates for the Stouffville GO Expansion. This work can only be completed when trains are not running.

As we continue to work towards the future expansion of the Stouffville line, we anticipate more dates where weekend Stouffville service will be impacted. Currently, the following construction is scheduled:
