GO fares are calculated based on the distance
travelled and the category of passenger. You pay the same fare whether you take a
train, a bus, or a combination of the two.

Full-time Canadian
university and college students are eligible for GO Transit student
fares, but they must carry official GO Student Identification
when travelling to show for ticket checks

ID cards can
be obtained during the school's registration period (either online or
using a paper application form obtained from the school Registrar's

ID cards not obtained
during registration are available through a paper application form
at the school Registrar's office. The school must verify enrolment as a
full-time student and the form must be validated at Union
Station prior to its first use.
- The GO Student ID card allows travel at a discounted rate for the
period of full-time study
and must be renewed each new school year. For students registered
for 7 months or more of full-time classes, the 2007-08 cards expire on
October 31, 2008 and 2008-09 cards are valid until October 31, 2009.

ticket for each child and adult in the group

charged the child fare (half the adult fare). All adults accompanying the
group will pay the normal adult fare
