SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF A WIND
TURBINE AT THE LISGAR GO STATION |

Transit is accepting Tenders for the Supply, Delivery and Installation
of a Wind Turbine at the Lisgar GO Station.
|
|
Only qualified Contractors will be considered for award of the Contract.
In order to be considered qualified; the Contractor shall have
satisfactorily completed, in the sole opinion of GO Transit, previous
contracts of a similar nature.
|
A Mandatory Site Meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Lisgar GO Station located at Argentia
and 10th Line, Mississauga, Ontario. Contractors are requested to meet
in front of the station building. Failure of a Contractor to be present
and registered from the time the meeting is called to order until the
meeting is adjourned will result in disqualification from bidding.

Contractors must wear safety vest and safety shoes at the site
meeting. Failure to satisfy this requirement will result in
disqualification from bidding.

Tender documents are available weekdays from 8:00
a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from GO Transit’s Procurement and Contract Services
Office at the address below for a fee of $40.00
non-refundable document charge by cash (exact change only) or certified cheque (personal cheques
not accepted), payable to the “Greater Toronto Transit Authority”. Tender
documents are provided only in hard copy format. No electronic versions

Each Tender must be accompanied by a bid deposit
of $50,000 in the form of a bid bond or certified cheque payable to
the “Greater Toronto Transit Authority”. |

Sealed Tenders will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15,
2008 at the same Procurement and Contract Services Office, and will be
publicly opened immediately upon closing.

GO Transit reserves the right
to reject any or all Tenders at its sole discretion. |
