Can messages be sent to my cellular phone using text messaging?
E-News alerts sent to cellular phones, PDAs, or pagers that are capable of receiving text messages will automatically convert to text message format. To receive E-News alerts as text messages, use the text message e-mail address provided by your cellular phone, PDA, or pager carrier when you sign up for E-News. Please refer to your carrier to confirm that your device is authorized to receive text messages, and for instructions.

What type of information will I receive about service delays?
E-News alerts will be sent when there are major service delays. Major delays include train and bus delays over thirty minutes, cancelled trains or buses, major service disruptions, emergencies, and suspension of service.
